TerraBrix
Precision Biology
Introducing TerraBrix
TerraBrix is not simply a compost tea brewer.
It is a patented biological extraction and conditioning system designed to produce repeatable, traceable and highly active biological extracts at farm scale.
Instead of relying on uncontrolled brewing, Terrabrix separates extraction from conditioning.
Biology is extracted from high-quality compost into a controlled environment where temperature, oxygen and process conditions can be managed and repeated.
TerraBrix produced Compost Teas can be stored in specialised tanks for much longer than conventional extracts and teas, providing flexibility and practicality.
The result is a biological liquid designed for consistency, handling and practical farm use.
How does it work?
TerraBrix uses a patented extraction process. Water and air are injected from below through compost, washing living microbes out into a clean tank below. The compost stays behind. The microbes stay alive in a controlled, aerobic environment. Result: 3-week shelf-life instead of 6 hours. Same microbes. Living delivery.
Key specs:
Up to 1 billion microbes per millilitre.
3 weeks storage (continuous gentle aeration, no decomposition).
Repeatable every batch (temperature, oxygen, feed controlled).
Traceable identity (each batch tracked from tank to field).
From Compost to Crop
TerraBrix
Extract and condition biology from carefully selected composts and biological feedstocks.
RotorFlex
Apply biology accurately through drills, planters and sprayers using low-shear peristaltic pumping technology.
Traceability
Track batches, application rates, fields and outcomes.
Know exactly what was applied, where and when.
Why the TerraBrix system?
Because biology only has value if it can be:
Produced consistently.
Stored and transported practically.
Applied accurately.
Measured properly.
Repeated across fields and seasons.
Terrabrix helps turn biology from an experiment into a managable, dependable tool.
The Data Behind TerraBrix
Common Questions
What makes TerraBrix unique?
1
Automation: Except for the filling with compost and food, the system is computer-controlled, fully automated and simply designed; in particular, no long waiting time is necessary when filling with water, as this is monitored by fill level sensors.
Shelf life: TerraBrix produced extract has a shelf life of at least three weeks – this depends on the separate rinsing of the compost from the processing of the liquid culture.
Durability: Our system is made of high-quality stainless steel, designed to be dependable and suitable for high output applications.
Is Compost Tea snake oil?
2
Many growers worldwide have reported positive results from compost extracts and compost teas, however, results can be inconsistent. The real question is not whether biology works, rather the question is can biology be produced, delivered and measured consistently enough for modern farming?
That is the problem Terrabrix is designed to solve.
What steps are necessary for production?
3
Once the extractor is filled with high-quality compost, no further steps are required until the end of the production process. The entire process is fully automated and runs at the touch of a button.
What do I need an extractor for?
4
Our patented extractor guarantees the even and efficient rinsing of the compost and is therefore partly responsible for the high number of microorganisms and their durability.
How much time is required for cleaning?
5
After a production run, cleaning the storage tank takes approximately 45 minutes.
Tip: Immediately after pumping out the extract, a garden hose is all you need – if the deposits have been drying for a longer period, a pressure washer is required.
